Priya Sharma

Priya Sharma has spent five years testing social and chat apps the unglamorous way: on real Android phones, on real networks, at real hours when the servers are actually busy. Random video platforms are her specialty, because they fail in ways spec sheets never capture: matches that never connect, cameras that go black on specific chipsets, and moderation that looks great in a press release and nowhere else.

Her bench rule is simple and non-negotiable. If a claim cannot be reproduced on a phone in her hand, it does not go on the page. Every Umingle build here passed her six-stage protocol (source trace, malware sweep, install trials, live chat drill, permission audit, clearance) before its download button went live.

Before review work, Priya spent three years in mobile QA for a messaging startup, where she learned that the most honest test of a chat app is a crowded Friday night. She still keeps a drawer of old budget phones specifically because that is what most of the world actually chats on.
